Then came the unexpected blow. Shopify, the platform hosting YKMN’s website, terminated the account without explanation. It was a moment of crisis, forcing a critical decision: give up or rebuild from the ground up.

The Rebrand

Redefining the Brand’s Identity

The termination of the Shopify store wasn’t the end—it was the beginning of a transformation. The brand evolved, not only in design but in mindset. The comic-inspired characters were replaced with designs rooted in Rorschach patterns, a nod to therapy, personal expression, and the beloved comic book character Rorschach.

The stark black-and-white designs, accented with bold red, encapsulated the founder’s aesthetic perfectly. The rebrand wasn’t about chasing sales; it was about creating designs that reflected the founder’s vision and resonated with the community.
